This handsome house was made more so with the addition of a porte cochere and the much needed blending of a later addition that was disconnected and awkward. The high abrupt roof line of the 2006
addition was extended down onto the roof of the original house creating
an entrance porch. The front door was repositioned to face the driveway
and a dormer was added to the new roof signaling to visitors "here is the entrance". The project also included a new 3 bay garage with a guest suite above which was designed to look like it very much belong to the house.
